Katie Moore - Principal
 
It is my honor to serve as Principal at East Burke High School, home of the Cavaliers! My previous administrative duties have allowed me to serve at Liberty Middle School, Draughn High School, and Heritage Middle School. I’m excited to be returning to my alma mater and serving the students, staff, and community of East Burke High School. Prior to entering school administration, I was the math instructional coach and I taught 7th-grade math for ten years at East Burke Middle School. I have been a part of the Burke County Public Schools system since 2002.

I am a graduate of Gardner-Webb University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Master of Arts in Secondary Education and School Administration. I live in the George Hildebrand community with my husband of 25 years, Chad and we have two children.

I look forward to serving you as we prepare the hearts and minds of today and tomorrow’s leaders for the 21st century.
