Please note the following change from previous years: This year, due to scheduling conflicts with AP testing, we are spreading these events out over two days instead of having them all the same day.
Elementary School Walks, Cap and Gown Group Photo, and your Senior Awards Ceremony will all take place on Friday, May 16th. Meanwhile, your Senior Carnival is scheduled for the following Tuesday, May 20th.

Seniors, your cap and gown will be delivered on March 28th. You need to have paid in full in order to pick it up. Cash and check can be used, day of, to finalize payment. If you need to pay by credit card, please do that in advance.
If you have not yet ordered your cap and gown, you need to speak with your guidance counselor immediately!

Phillip Shabazz, a poet, author and teaching artist, was a special guest at East Burke High School recently for a poetry workshop in four English classes. In the workshops, he taught students different forms of poetry and challenged the students to get out of their comfort zones when writing.
