When are applications due?
Applications are considered in rounds, with an alumni-only period in November, followed by 3 rounds with deadlines Jan. 1, Feb. 1, and Mar. 1. Applications after March 1 will be considered on a rolling basis. We recommend applying early as courses will fill.

Are there requirements?
Beyond specific course prerequisites, we do not have GPA or test requirements. The application review committee looks at a number of factors, including academic records and interest in the subject matter, to ensure students will be able to succeed in the rigorous course they are applying for.

Who can apply?
Any rising 7th through 12th grader who meets the requirements for a particular course may apply. Applicants do not need to be residents of North Carolina; students from around the world are encouraged to apply.

Is there financial aid?
