My name is Augusta Vang and I am an undergraduate student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Here at Chapel Hill, the Hmong Student Association of Carolina (HSAC) was able to create a nonrenewable $500 scholarship for all Hmong-American students in North Carolina. The Hmong Student Association of Carolina is an educational and service organization that serves to represent the Hmong-American identity at Chapel Hill. Our mission is to inform and encourage Hmong students to pursue higher education and also to embrace their culture by educating the community about our people through service. This year, Hmong Student Association of Carolina has created a scholarship fund to assist a Hmong-American student in the opportunity of furthering their education at a North Carolina Institute.

Please help share this scholarship opportunity with your current high school seniors.

Below, I have included a link to the scholarship application with more information about it.
