There's a new club being offered here at East Burke. The Beekeeping Club, also called the East Burke Beekeepers, will form in Mr. Laningham's class in room 407. Students are encouraged to stop by and sign up. It's free! Students can benefit for some of the following reasons:

1. Great senior project!
2. Be a part of saving the honeybee from extinction
3. Help pollinate crops and flowers
4. Competitions with Freedom, Patton and Draughn
5. Learn about entomology (study of insects)
6. HONEY! Lots of honey!
7. Learn a great hobby that will last a life time.
8. Ability to also join the Burke County and NC State Beekeepers Associations
9. Help start the EBHS Honey Store (will include all bee by products)
10. It's free to join!

Help spread the Bee Buzz colleagues. All faculty members are encouraged to join as well. It's a lot of fun and you learn something new about science, the health benefits of local honey and beekeeping every day.
